Study data collection is complete! A huge thank you to the 524 incredible participants over the last 4 years. We're excited to start the analysis and share the results in six months!
@carol_i_am_not Followed by a fascinating presentation from the process evaluation team on the breadth of studies examining the implementation of the #ReflectiveFostering programme and how it was experienced by those delivering and engaging in it.
Then, we heard from @carol_i_am_not on the Relationship Stories study which explores how engagement in the #reflectivefosteringprogramme helps enhance the carer-child relationship.
First up, our Chief (Investigator) Prof. Nick Midgley provided an update on the incredible distance travelled since the study began & invited attendees to provide their insights into how best to disseminate (eventual) RFS findings.
Today we welcome our amazing stakeholder group and supporters to join us in sharing ideas on disseminating the Reflective Fostering Study outcomes and findings from related studies #RFSStakeholderEvent

Team #ReflectiveFostering is happy to announce that the 'Square Peg in Round Hole' toolkit is InCLUDEd on the #NIHR website (link below). Informed by the experience of underserved #fostercarers and #kinshipcarers, the toolkit provides steps for fostering service inclusivity #1
A massive THANK YOU to Wave 6 participants for completing their 12-month follow-up questionnaires, and to those who participated in Wave 8, who have completed their 4-month questionnaires - we received a fantastic completion rate of 85% !! 🥳😊#ReflectiveFostering
Have you read/used the "square peg in a round hole" toolkit for including underserved carers in fostering services (inc. male and #kinship carers)?
It's full of shared experience from carers, and "small step" practical tools, plus questions for reflection/supervision!
For #KinshipCareWeek, we wish to share the InCLUDE project's toolkit, which can help fostering services think about how to be more inclusive of kinship carers. Please share to further increase its reach and impact to support meaningful change 😊
