I'd take a Prime Minister who wasn't popular but was serious and respected internationally, over a Prime Minister who is popular all day long. People are too obsessed with polls now, as if everything is okay. Boris was popular.
The AUDACITY of British press to moan about someone monetizing Diana’s life when anyone with a brain can see how they treated Diana for the last 45 years.
Charles Spencer is being very diplomatic, and i applaud him for it.
I believe watching the royal family use the media to smear Prince Harry and Meghan, is reliving Diana’s nightmare, and it inspired Swan Song.
It shows that Charles unchanged & unlearned.
Here’s the thing. The royal family and their mouthpieces in the press give the game away, constantly.
They know the monarchy is on thin ice despite what their yougov polls show. Indifference to the monarchy is increasing. The crowds do not show up like they used to in years gone by.
The media knows it and feels it. They also know that the public interest in Harry and Meghan far outweighs the public interest in the rest of the royal family combined.
They know that a book from Charles Spencer can absolutely hit the monarchy hard, but the way these allies of Charles are coming out to trash Charles Spencer is giving desperate vibes. You know you have someone shook when you start attacking their personal and private life. When you can’t attack the substance, attack their character.
We have no idea whether Labour have attacted half of Green voters back to the Labour party. To me it looks like more Haigh spin.
There's also the smell of panic in the air.
Zack Polanski and the Green Party are standing in the Holborn and St Pancras by election remember.
Charles Spencer doesn’t give a hoot about the RF or the media. The RF and media are crying because they are not in control of the narrative.
The usual gaslighting is not working and they have lost control. Social media has evened the odds!
Seeing his outburst over an inanimate object like a leaky fountain pen, can you imagine what his reaction would be to someone confrontational to him? I believe Charles Spencer
I wanted to make a statement regarding my interview with Prof. David Wilson and Martin Frizzell.
There has been a lot of comment regarding this. I would firstly like to state that David and Martin were perfectly courteous to me, both before and after the interview. We had an amicable, even friendly, conversation after the interview.
One comment made by Prof. Wilson has particularly attracted attention - his comment that Lucy Letby had images of babies on her phone. During the interview, I obviously knew this to be incorrect, but I felt that it would not be productive for me to correct every statement or claim that he made which was erroneous; this could simply have led to an argument. That is why I did not correct this.
It is obvious that this untrue, and it is equally obvious that this claim does not feature in my book; there would be no reason for me to write this. In my view, it was simply a misunderstanding or misremembering from Wilson, who does not know the case as well as me.
With regard to the general reaction, I understand why people feel strongly about the interview. It is not my place to comment on whether the approach of Prof. Wilson was correct, it is simply my role to respond to this questioning, which I did to the best of my ability.
I never felt uncomfortable and enjoyed recording the interview. I perhaps enjoyed this one more than others I have recorded, as I was challenged.
While I understand that the way I was challenged has been offensive to some, it really doesn’t bother me. I have pretty thick skin. I don’t require anyone to treat me in any particular way. I just conduct myself the way that I was brought up to behave.
The comments section for that video, while both fair and accurate, will not make pleasant reading for Prof. Wilson, particularly as he has been strongly criticised by followers of his channel, who had never encountered me previously.
I must say that being in the public eye is not necessarily easy, and while Prof. Wilson has chosen that path for himself and is an autonomous adult who can expect to be held accountable for his conduct, I think the level of criticism that he has already received is more than adequate.
While I know previous comments and videos have been well-intentioned, I wanted to get a few things on the record, particularly that I have no problem with David, nor with the interview that was conducted.
I have received overwhelming support in relation to this interview, for which I am very grateful, but I would ask respectfully that commenters leave this alone now. I’m sure Prof. Wilson can handle it, but I think he’s had enough criticism now.
Princess Diana premonition here. Her haunting look of what's about to come. My god what they did to her. I'm so proud of Charles Spencer and his book. She deserved better.
Absolutely articulate beautifully said, Charles Spencer is so impressive. Like so impressive on his public speaking. The treatment of Prince Harry and Meghan is echoing Diana's treatment.
He also said something very insulting about Meghan (which Harry never revealed) during that phone call, which prompted Harry to warn Charles to never speak about his wife like that again.
So yes. I believe Charles Spencer.
"It has been said Diana contemplated suicide a few times and had drove to Beachy Head on a couple of occasions.
The only thing that stopped her were her sons".
From the aged of 20 her life was made a misery.
A wicked family who get by on "recollections may vary"

When Harry was born, Charles told the late Princess Diana, "Wonderful! Now you've given me an heir and a spare, my work is done". In that very moment, he tried to reduce her to just someone who gave birth. That's chilling cold and monsterous. There's no doubt about his cruel ways
Well said @ClarkeMicah: "Dame Kathryn Thirlwall, surrounded by the smoking ruins and heaped wreckage of the case against Ms Letby, carried on as if the nurse’s conviction had not been challenged over three long, hard years by armies of experts." https://t.co/4ZulOvepk0
THIS is the little boy that I will always remember who lost his Mum...&then was cruelly rejected by his brother at school. And then bullied out of the UK by Willy & Kate & Prince Charles. I will ALWAYS protect and Defend Prince Harry. Why? Because I loved his mum.
