I would like to report a dangerous transportation violation observed on 04/06/2026 at approximately 11:05 PM on the Pune–Solapur Highway, near the Vithal Kamat area, heading towards Pune.
A truck carrying an oversized iron structure/object was moving on the highway without proper safety measures. The vehicle appeared highly unsafe because:
The oversized load was extending dangerously.
No proper reflective warning signs, hazard lights, escorts, or safety markings were visible.
The truck did not have a clearly visible rear number plate.
The height and positioning of the load posed a serious risk to nearby vehicles, especially SUV cars, whose roofs could easily collide with the protruding structure in low-visibility night conditions.
Such negligence creates a major accident risk for highway commuters. I request the concerned transport and traffic authorities to immediately investigate this matter, identify the vehicle through highway CCTV or patrol records, and take strict action against the transporter. Vehicles carrying oversized loads without mandatory safety compliance should be seized to prevent serious accidents and loss of life.
