For 64 years, Uganda has written its own story, built on a simple yet profound idea: every person should have the power to determine their own destiny.
Happy Independence Day, Uganda | #UGat64
On 9th October 1962, Uganda became a free nation. Today we honour those who made it possible and celebrate the Pearl of Africa and its resilient people.
For God and My Country.๐บ๐ฌ
Fourth Hub wishes you a joyful and safe celebration.

For a hustler, taking a day off, even on a public holiday, is not always an option.
This young man, Mr. Owor, travelled overnight from Kampala to Gulu. He is already wrapping up measurements for our new podcast studio at @fourthhub_ug and will soon jump on a bus back to Kampala to spend some time with his family before returning to Gulu to begin work.
Today, I celebrate him and the many hardworking young people who continue to do everything within their means to make ends meet in an economy as challenging as ours.
Behind every hustle is a story of sacrifice, determination and the desire to build a better life. For many young people, public holidays are simply another opportunity to keep pushing.
To Mr. Owor and all the young people out there working tirelessly to make something of themselves, I see you, I respect your hustle, and I celebrate you.
Happy Independence Day!

Happy Tuesday.
Culture is the thread that stitches us together. In its songs, its stories, its food, its dance, we find where we come from and who we belong to.
Where do you belong?

๐๏ธ Yesterday was #InternationalPodcastDay, and we are still smiling about it.
A podcast is a story you can carry in your pocket.
It keeps us company on long walks and quiet evenings, and it makes room for voices that don't always get heard.
For many of us, it's where history, culture, and everyday life sit side by side.
Thank you to everyone who speaks, records, and shares their truth. And thank you to everyone who listens.

@fourthmediaug@ObolJustin211@norbertmao@RealBeaMao It's really a great initiative to have this festival, it shall shape they perspective of people on farming especially a shift from subsistence agriculture to commercial one. We never believe in coffee but now it's possible in the north and this platform shall amplify it.
Kitgum, the Kakebe Tech Camp is coming to your town this year! ๐
Come, letโs gather to learn, build and innovate.
If you know a young person aged 14โ30, donโt hesitate to sign them up. Participation is only UGX 100,000.
I can confidently say there are few better ways for a young person to spend their December holiday than learning new skills, meeting other young innovators, building ideas and discovering what they can create with technology.
Northern Uganda, this December, letโs learn. Letโs build. Letโs innovate.
