it’s not about highlighting lando’s championship, it’s the little connotations that do the exact opposite & that’s the problem. realistically, why should oscar’s cap have p1? he hasn’t won monaco, hasn’t taken pole, is not the 1000th point scorer and is not the lead driver. why does he get those little additions and no one else does?? i think sometimes people forget that design is also a primary means of communication bc what message does that poster communicate? of course people are going to get mad because genuinely, what are they implying with the additional details they gave him and not other drivers especially the reigning world champion??
