@Salisburymayor and many dignitaries joined us for what was a very moving service. RBL Standard bearers, personnel from The Royal Corps of Signals and @BandShaftesbury played their magnificent parts too. Our thanks go to @SJASalisbury & the Williams family of East Farm.
We were delighted to be joined by so many people for our annual Drumhead Service, the first since Covid-19. The service was led by Archdeacon @alanpjeans, with addresses by Mrs Sarah Troughton @WiltsLieutenant and our President General Sir Nick Parker....

Fovant is a village very close to where I grew up & was the location for a series of large #WW1 training camps along the valley including Fovant @fovantbadges & Hurdcott Camps @ww1australiamap and has a large number of @CWGC war graves in local churchyards. St George's Church 2/
Lots of work taking place up on the hillside at the moment with weeding, strimming and re-chalking where required. Glad to see the results being appreciated!
Flying the flag for #AnzacDay2022 at Fovant. We remember the many #Australian soldiers who spent time at Fovant Camp during #WW1, often arriving during those harsh & bitter winters which in itself took a heavy toll on them. 43 are buried at St George's Church. Image @AWMemorial
