Hey, @nypHospital
The lack of doctors in your MASSIVE network that accept Medicaid is appalling. You are a non-profit. SERVE THE POOR!
You've got over 9,000 doctors. Less than 200 of those take Medicaid.
SHAMEFUL.

Tonight is my last radio show for the known future. I was honored to get an interview with @maysoonzayid!
We talk about:
her new kids comic Shiny Misfits (https://t.co/x3AJI5Lt7M)
disability
comedy
genocide
General Hospital
LISTEN: https://t.co/rtCzeiAuQn Sunday 3-6AM EST
Every time I see stuff about the rapture, I feel like they're treating Jesus like their alcoholic divorced dad who keeps promising to pick them up to go fishing but never shows.
๐จ DID YOU KNOW ๐จ that we're Guinness World Record holders? With 275 releases over 22 years, Doctor Who: The Monthly Adventures was the longest running science fiction audio play series!
This weekend's radio show was super fun!
For Mike Patton's birthday I played 2 hrs of various Patton content.
Also, a lovely Doctor Who radio play from Big Finish Audio that is charming as fuck (esp if you dig D&D), regardless if you are a Who fan.

I do a weekly, three minute movie review spot on @WFMUโs morning show โWake & Bakeโ with @ClayPigeonWFMU .
This week I reviewed Barbie. I managed to flip it into a glowing recommendation for the feminism of @GeneralHospital.

Hey, Iโve got the bluesky now!
A whole new place for me to randomly post and forget it exists for months at a time!
(It seems the roll out has initiated itself with nerd culture?)
News Media acts so nonchalantly about the fact that a gigantic swath of boreal forestland in North America is on fire right now, with smoke choking out cities hundreds of miles away. THESE FORESTS ARENT SUPPOSED TO BURN. We are the next mass extinction event.
Our tolerance as a society for human suffering rests on the idea that you have no right to food or water or shelter and if you don't have those things, it's your fault, and even if it isn't, it's the price of a system that rewards hard work. This is bullshit.
As a child, I believed in the aspirational America of Rod Serling, one that shone light on our faults but reached towards moral integrity and equality.
Instead, we've ended up with the America of PKD, a reality I never thought would be so literally relevant in my lifetime.
I don't often promote my radio show here. I'm new at this and make a lot of mistakes.
However, my tribute episode to @RealKevinConroy is, I think, worth listening to.
