HERO ALERT: These men had JUST been trained to spot human trafficking when they found themselves staring at a little girl from an AMBER Alert... and they BLOCKED THE SUSPECT'S CAR IN until police arrived.

Earlier this year, two-year-old Kehlani Rogers had been missing from her Avondale home for two days when a security guard at a Phoenix QuikTrip thought he recognized her.

Employees from Camelback Moving pulled up the AMBER Alert, realized the little girl matched it, and jumped into action.

The crew used their moving trucks to BLOCK the suspect's vehicle so she couldn't leave while police raced to the gas station.

Officers arrived, arrested 23-year-old Marina Noriega and recovered Kehlani SAFE and unharmed.

Some of those movers had completed Truckers Against Trafficking awareness training only weeks earlier, and were brave enough to step into action.

Make these men famous, and don't let the GOOD stories from this year be forgotten!

In June 2024, a heatwave at the Hajj killed 1,301 people.

For 5 days, one volunteer carried collapsed pilgrims on his shoulders to a medical centre 2 km away, over and over.

44 of the people he carried lived. 24 of them were Indian.

He is Pakistani.

His name is Asif Bashir.

He is from Peshawar, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He works as a database supervisor at the Chief Minister's House there. He went to Saudi Arabia after coming first in the test for Hajj volunteers, and his job was to assist Pakistani pilgrims.

Between 22nd and 27th June the temperature in Mina became lethal. Pilgrims returning from the stoning ritual began collapsing in the open.

He stopped sorting them by nationality.

Over those 5 days he gave first aid to around 350 people. Ambulances could not get through the crowds in many places, so he picked up the ones the medical teams had already marked as critical and carried them himself.

There is one detail that says everything about him.

After taking an Indian woman to hospital, he came back to find a bag lying where she had fallen. Inside were her passport, her insulin, her Hajj card and about 10 lakh rupees. The documents showed she was from Srinagar.

He contacted the Indian consulate in Jeddah to return it. They could not trace her. So he kept the bag safe, and said he wanted to hand it back to her himself.

Indian pilgrims started calling him the Angel of Mina.

When the story reached Delhi, Kiren Rijiju wrote to him. The Indian consul general in Jeddah recommended him for an award.

In January 2025 the Government of India gave him the Jeevan Raksha Padak, the medal for saving human life.

He is only the second person from Peshawar ever to receive an Indian civilian honour. The first was Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan.

What he said when he accepted it was short.

This award is for all of Pakistan. I acted on the basis of humanity, without regard to nationality.

There is a precedent, and it runs the other way. In 1987 Pakistan gave its own civilian award to Neerja Bhanot, the Indian air hostess who died saving passengers on a hijacked plane.

The 2 countries have spent 78 years unable to agree on almost anything.

They have both agreed, twice, that a person who saves strangers deserves a medal.
