Important note: We have marked the fplscrapR repository as archived on GitHub. That means it is read-only, will not be further updated, issues not resolved etc.
Package will still work as usual, as long as there are no structural changes to the FPL API!

The #FPL season is back - and {fplscrapR} is still here!
Please see our pinned thread for key info, what you can do with the package, how to install and more.
Happy coding, and good luck to all!

Data for the 21/22 season is now also available in our historical FPL data library, and of course accessible through the relevant package functions with the 'season = 21' parameter

We just pushed a small update to GitHub - updating the get_league() and get_league_entries() functions to no longer require authentication (as this wasn't necessary)

As ever, re-install with: remotes::install_github("wiscostret/fplscrapR")
@jameso_12@fplscrapR GW 8 stands out again but also GW17.
GW17 high score seems to be driven by the relative score in GW19 (i.e. two weeks after WCing).
May be just a small sample....
@jameso_12 Inspired by this and to test @fplscrapR
- drew a sample of 500 teams
- calculated cumulative points relative to average GW points for the GW preceding the WC, the WC GW and the subsequent 2 GWs
Continuing on the previous post, perhaps #fpl community will find this interesting.I have compared my season so far (OR < 600k) with the top 50 players atm... using extraordinary @fplscrapR package. here's what I found...
Dear @alibruceball, I wanted to show that there is some merit to @chris_sutton73's way of fantasyzing. So, I've fired up @fplscrapR and tried to test whether Chris is falling behind @StatmanDave and you solely because of the captain points...

@Hugo_legge Huh. I haven't looked at the Draft API data structure, but with a quick glance, looks like what you're looking for is: https://t.co/1IbaGs1gpt
@webkowuite There is no new open issue on the github page - that's really the easiest way for us to troubleshoot, if you could open an issue. Seems like a prob with the curl prompts but I can't immediately replicate your issue, and code snips going back and forth on twitter is.. suboptimal
@webkowuite Hi, I don't see any structural issues with the function, so try to log a minimum reproducible example (https://t.co/gpi2TbAUJb) on the fplscrapR github site and we will see to it asap: https://t.co/2jJOt0tqT1
MORE INFORMATION is available on the package website: https://t.co/H2SKdgeNTV
And on GitHub: https://t.co/KUxD1puxbq
THANKS, and happy coding!
