This afternoon Civil Defence Officers, Assistants & Volunteers from across the country were kindly hosted by @PresidentIRL at a reception to mark 75 years of Civil Defence in Ireland. 🇮🇪💙🧡

With water supply and electricity still affected in many areas, please make time to check in on neighbours and those who are isolated and vulnerable.

Mayo Civil Defence have in the period since #StormÉowyn mobilised & assisted with the response.

Teams have:
• assisted @ESBNetworks with drone surveys of damage to their network
• visited and assisted vulnerable members of our community
• transported vital equipment
