@another_anna_ I personally search for only smart girls, otherwise the relationship would be boring and not interesting, the more clever the better (for me)
So don't worry, he was just the wrong one😃
The more I read about strict language learning rules (methods, percentages, number of hours) the more I feel like doing whatever I want 😂 I also have opinions on what works better or worse and enjoy sharing, but “mandatory” numbers exhaust me. They suck the fun out of it for me.
@dayapete@PetraVC I personally don't have any problem with "sounding silly" to native speakers. Otherwise I HATE speaking a foreign language in front of my family/other Italian people who don't speak the language
@PetraVC@dayapete Wow that's nicee! Unfortunately I don't have this kind of classes in my school but I don't mind, Internet was created for a reason! 🙄
"if you speak to a man in a language he knows bit goes to his head, if you speak to a man in his language it goes to his heart"
Caveat:
"if you speak to a language learner in their language, they will get pissed off they can't practice their L2"
A common habit most language learners fall into is studying, studying, and studying...
But then they wonder, “Why am I not improving!?”
Thing is, you’re improving your knowledge, but if you’re not implementing it, then you can’t truly improve 🤷🏻♀️
@mascolony I'm not a native speaker but if you would like we could speak in English without any problem!
I'm pretty good at French too but sometimes I still get corrected, we can talk in French too though!
I'm currently writing a curriculum to apply for a month-long working experience abroad!
I chose to apply for Austria, France and UK, in this order😃
I wish I could go to Austria! My German would improve A LOT!😄
