I’m editing a German video right now and in it I thought I created the verb “gegooglet” in the moment but as it turns out that’s THE REAL WAY TO SAY GOOGLED
This is my new favourite verb in the past tense

@_RoadRiot Hmmm I would say it was less about grammar books and more about just listening to people speak over and over (although I have nothing against learning grammar! Not my favorite part at all, but I still find it useful sometimes!).

@_RoadRiot I promise it gets better, as someone who also learns German! Now I'm becoming more and more used to it, sometimes I'm even able to tell if something sounds strange or out of order without being able to justify it 😬😅 the more exposure you get, the faster it becomes 2nd nature!

@lucaschavesdm Lucas...I've felt exactly the same which is why I've been so silent! Lots of things have happened in the last 3 months, especially professionally, which made language learning come last. Honestly, we'll be able to catch up anyway, don't worry 😉 our brains need some mercy too!

Do you take notes while the speaker is talking? How do you note down/look up the words you don’t know?
