The final Land Talks of the season is the week after next!
The full lineup of speakers is up, and is too varied to compress into this post. Everything from co-ops and buyouts to freeing planning and land-value capture.

Land Talks #5! I'm running another evening of lightning talks about land policy.
This one's got quirky stuff about the impact of driverless cars on land, and crunchy stuff about how liberalising planning can reduce trust and cause more problems.

Are you in London? We're running a second season of Land Talks! Lightning talks about radical land policy.
First one is two week's on Monday.
I won't link to it as this is X and your fault you're still reading a platform that has banned links.
Search for "Land Talks luma"!
Pleased with @SurenVynn and my new episode of our podcast "Imagine an apple".
We talk with @frideswyth - who organises JessCamp where Vynn and I met! - about the inner experience of meditation.
I think meditation is a particular area where more comparison to the variety of normal experience is important. Everyone's mental experience before they meditate is so different, it makes lots of the conversations confused esp. about early stages.
New episode! We talk with @frideswyth about the inner experience of meditation.
It's an exciting topic - lots of aspects of meditation are about awareness of how our minds are working.
Search for "Imagine an apple" wherever you listen to podcasts, or see links in thread!
I've had fun running Land Talks this last year, and we're ending it with a pub quiz.
If you're in London two week's on Tuesday, and fancy a more relaxing and social evening, with people who want to improve Britain's land system, see you there!

Alexander Technique, awareness, being aware of being aware, non-doing. On this month's episode of @imagine_apple, @@frabcus and I speak to none other than @m_ashcroft himself on the what Alexander Technique is and how it alters consciousness.

Really happy to interview @m_ashcroft with @SurenVynn on @imagine_apple about what it *actually* means to "expand awareness".
(link in thread)
How much we focus and what that means varies between people and time and place. There's a lot going on in this conversation:
What a flow state is, when we're aware of awareness, what a thought it.
It's a great view - the changes someone can make using Alexander Technique provide perspective on all our inner experiences and what they're really like, and how they vary.
Thanks Michael and Vynn!
New episode!
Today we interview @m_ashcroft about the inner experience of Alexander Technique.
What is it like to experience “open awareness”? What’s the difference between doing and non-doing?
Find "Imagine an apple" in your favourite podcast app. Or links in the thread.
The smart people I knew predicted it was a bad idea - whether you are left coded and hate the current X regime, or right coded and hated the previous X regime. Doesn't matter. The problem is, allowing a central distant other to control you.
