@cathaypacific I had a very frustrating experience with Cathay Pacific due to poor handling of a delayed flight. I was supposed to travel back to Dubai, but due to the delay, I was rebooked on a completely different route from Hong Kong to Kathmandu, then to Dubai which caused significant inconvenience, extra travel time, and unnecessary stress. What made the situation worse was the lack of communication. The ground staff did not properly explain or inform us about the new flight details. No clear briefing, no guidance and we had to find out the information ourselves. This level of service is unacceptable, especially for an international airline. Travel disruptions can happen, but poor communication, lack of support, and disregard for passenger convenience are not acceptable. This experience was frustrating and disappointing, and it has greatly affected my trust in Cathay Pacific. I hope the airline seriously reviews how their ground staff handle delayed flights and passenger communication.
