I have a working theory that this weird skill of 'unclenching' also makes you quantifiably 'luckier' in life.
It turns out that what we label as 'luck' is a combination of the following measurable factors:

When the climb is over and you're standing at the zenith the glance ahead is gonna show all the spoils that you were promised. Thousandfold more than you thought. It will catch you by surprise.
But a glance at the path behind is gonna make it clear that almost 0 of everything that happened was accidental. All the fuckups were intentional. Any relationship that didn't work out is your doing. You knew you needed the fuel of the pain and have sacrificed people on the altar of your mission. Hearts broken. Destinies rewritten. Voids left so vast no one can dock to them but you. Lives sliced into jigsaw puzzles of which you're always the missing piece. The most irregular piece.
Every moment of solitude was self inflicted. Every bridge burnt was an arson of your alter ego against yourself. You were both the patient and the surgeon and would always inflict bigger damage as you were treating the previous one. Every disaster you couldn't overcome is because you wanted then guns pointed at your head. All the wins you have sabotaged was from fear of the cozy middle.
All along you had a map you haven't been aware of. You have had all the recipes. Your kid that turned out fucked up, the bitch that left you, friends that betrayed out were all the ingredients. You have been running an alchemy lab to come up with the most potent performance drug without realizing it. Everyone including your was part of the design. You were playing all the roles. You were all the puppets and the puppet master at the same time.
Each one had to pay a hefty toll to be part of the story. The reward is the reverent silence as the curtain drops. The mandate of all mankind is giving one hell of a performance.
Take what you can out of the sinking ship. In the real world, that is, pre-crypto, a CEO never sell his or her own shares while shouting "all is OK". A CEO selling shares expresses such a loss of confidence in the company it is taken extremely seriously.
