In a perfect society, you wouldn’t care about religion of any member of society but Nigeria is still very far from that reality. Anything and everything will quickly become either ethnic or religious so you have defend your people or be eradicated.

And even if you say Yorubas are more tolerant than Igbo, you cannot say that Northern Muslims are more tolerant Igbo. The statistics and history does not support that assertion.

He’s been insulted but he does not fear death in the South East as Christians do in Southern Kaduna. It’s about scale not absolutes.

@YungHusband_ Igbo people have never been Muslims before Europeans arrived even after Arabs brought it to North Africa. Same for most other black people south of Nigeria. Islam was brought to Africa along with the Arab trans Sahara slave trade
