This whole situation could have been easily solved if @BrumPolice had nothing to hide, releasing the full context and body cam footage would have put out the fire that's now burning online if the police officer was in the right. If she was in the wrong, as the video online suggests, then they have serious systemic issues within their force.
We are aware of footage showing the arrest of a man after a disorder on Broad Street at 1.30am on 21 June.
Officers found a group of men fighting. As the incident was dealt with, an officer was punched.
One man was arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer.
@BrumPolice there’s something wrong with your heads! If there’s more context to this share the full body cams. This footage is pretty damning of your force’s credibility.
The incident has been reviewed, and we have no concerns over the officer's actions and we are satisfied that they were reasonable and proportionate in the circumstances.
We would ask that footage is not further shared to allow the legal process to take its course.
Paraguay is entering a new era of connectivity 🇵🇾
Paraguay is working with Starlink through MITIC and COPACO to bring high-speed internet to more than 1,600 schools in isolated areas
This will connect 50,000+ students and teachers to online learning, digital libraries, collaboration tools, and new opportunities
A satellite in orbit can now change the future of a classroom full of students on the ground
@elonmusk@xai@grok Why is it that since you added the usage tracker feature it feels like I'm getting rate limited way more often than before it was introduced?
@rhevanth95 By investigating past failures and creating systems that deter graft, governments can rebuild public confidence. Real progress comes when ordinary citizens see that their leaders prioritise integrity and delivery over self-interest.
@KareemRifai Ermm, it often was used to do just that...
Serbia (2000), Serbia (2000) – Overthrow of Slobodan Milošević ~$3 million
Georgia (2003) – Rose Revolution ~$1.5 million+
etc
@bhreading@WGTransport@transport_wales@TrawsCymru_ Meanwhile the Shetlands are getting £1.5 billion to link the islands via tunnels. I support that project, but make it make sense, Wales has far more people.
@tayzthecreator The UN is one of the most corrupt organisations on earth. How can you with good conscience allow Russia and China hold seats on the human rights council. It’s a total joke of an organisation. And a tool in the hands of authoritarian regimes around the world to swear good society.
