The Muslim President of Burkina Faso, Ibrahim Traore has banned Shari'a law in his country.

According to him, Shari'a law is anti-development and must not be institutionalised.

He's saying that there are people of diverse faiths in the country and no religion must be recognised beyond the other.

Recall, he has also kicked against his citizens who travel to Saudi Arabia just to study Shari'a law. He's kicking against the return of such students.
