@MaryAnn67629283 @nsgov You have to look at number of cases per 100,000 unvaccinated people, vs 100,000 vaccinated people and you will see that unvaccinated people are being infected and hospitalized at a higher rate compared to vaccinated people.

@MaryAnn67629283 @nsgov because 80% of the population is vaccinated, so it will be inevitable be higher. The relevant data is hospitalization data. Vaxxed can still catch it, but don't spread, don't go to hospital, That's the whole point of the vaccine. People that catch less likely go to hospital.

@Paulamacd1022 @nsgov The state of emergency allows the government to enforce restrictions at the border, airport, and sea. It allows police and officers to enforce public health policies, isolation policies etc. It doesn't have anything to do with vaccines.

@callmeniles @CP24 A solution would be for doctors issue a letter of medical exemption. You show that to the department that issues the vaccine passport. They issue you an official exemption which you show at the door. I can't see them doing rapid tests at every business, but some to be inclusive.

@justafollowe1 @nationalpost Tell that to the 20,000 people in Canada and 460,000 people in the US who have died in the last year. No, not very deadly at all. Doesnt hardly affect anyone. Long-haulers syndrome isn't real. It's just old people. The hospitals can handle it. Covid denial is a alive and well

@justafollowe1 @nationalpost Just think, if they'd done this a year ago, we'd have virtually no cases at all. It prevents people from bringing in the virus, and spreading it around. Why wouldn't they do it?? This virus is very contagious, it is deadly, it has long term side-effects, won't be going away soon.
