I'm happy to report my sci-fi novel is written! Unfortunately, now comes the boring part of reading and re-reading it until I turn it into something not terrible then go to publish it on Amazon.
Some one smarter than me could probably explain what it means that the infinite subspace beneath reality has transitioned over the last century from a library to an empty, decrepit, office
Writers, name the 5 authors who most impacted your writing style or philosophy:
Robert E. Howard
J. R. R. Tolkien
Robert Heinlein
Michael Crichton
John Ringo (I've probably read more of him than any other author)
I picked up these fantasy magazines from a used book store and one of them had a tribute to Frank Frazetta. Looks like the August 2002 of Realms of Fantasy. Great stuff!

Bots and scammers please don't bother, you are too obvious now.
I've been painting a lot, and suddenly got the idea to paint my own book covers. I've been working on sci-fi/fantasy art but I'm not there yet. It'll take time!
One thing I love about BLACK COMPANY is the pacing. Cook wastes no time. More events happen in the first chapter than some fantasy authors cram into half a novel.
The entire first trilogy clocks in around 700 pages, roughly 100 pages less than the average WHEEL OF TIME book.
