@HMRCcustomers Good evening, is it usual for the VAT “helpline” to refuse to help & put the phone down on Agents when it is 6pm, which just happens to be the closing time?

@ACCA_UK Thanks for the response but it’s already being “dealt with” i.e quick apology & nothing else we can do….. seriously making me reconsider my choices after the clear lack of support I have received regarding this (& I’m sure I’m not the only one)

@ACCA_UK As helpful as ever…… & incorrect as I was advised that I would be able to sit the remote exam but only if it was under a different variation, which is clearly not feasible

@ACCA_UK after my (final) exam being cancelled in Leeds on 6th Sept, I find it ridiculous that you cannot arrange for it to be sat remotely. My emails are not being dealt with in a timely manner that might have allowed us affected students to sit our exams in the current sitting.

Also amazing that the exam would have been available remotely if cancelled due to covid but it is impossible for ACCA to arrange this now. Can’t wait for my email reply to tell me the exam session is finished so nothing can be done. Professional association?!?!?
