Colorado - We are posting this letter today in hopes you will read it - share it - and help others to do the same so everyone who cares about elephant abuse can get behind this important cause.
For decades, the ever-popular Renaissance Festival in Larkspur Colorado has allowed Elephant contractors to be part of their event - which involves an elephant having to carry people on its back for hours and hours every day while walking in a small circle just for human entertainment.
Colorado Laws exists to prevent this kind of animal abuse and The Colorado Parks and Wildlife needs to enforce the law by not issuing a permit that allows the elephant contractors to come into Colorado.
Please help share this press release and letter from the Animal Law Clinic at the University of Denver and also let the Colorado Parks and Wildlife know you care about this issue.
The elephants that are still being used for these terrible barbaric practices desperately need our help!!!

A young woman on my 11 hour flight watched Dune Part II, then apparently discovered that there is a Part I, watched that and then rewatched the entirety of Part II and I think she may have had the best time of her life.
Meet the Malayan tapir. It's an agile runner, great diver, & hasn't changed much in ~20 million years. Its unique nose (proboscis) helps it breathe while in water. Though it may be friend-shaped, give it space: It weighs ~1,000 lbs (450 kg) & runs faster than an Olympic sprinter!
