We want Gears and Saga, sure, but their owners don't have the same position as Nintendo.

Esp. SQE. They won't take that risk. FF titles are underperforming financially. Why would they gamble for a cult-classic that will not guarantee ROI? Remakes/remasters still cost money.

Nintendo can afford to shoulder games w/c won't sell gangbusters coz of their good financial position. We want Xenogears and Xenosaga, sure, but understand that their owners don't have the same perspective and position as Nintendo.

Mario Kart 8, Pikmin 3, Bayo 2, DK Tropical Freeze...

Now Xenoblade X. I'm after a physical release, so will get that to complete my collection. 👌

It's actually a new 3D character model, not the one seen in Xenoblade 2. It's quite in-line with Xenoblade 3's 3D character models, which I really love.

Glad the game will be out of the WiiU jail. 👌

Nintendo rarely does acquisitions. They're not Microsoft.

At most, they usually do exclusivity deals ala-Bayonetta 2, 3, Origins or Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. The thing is, would funding a Xenogears remaster/remake have ROI?

@MonadoXenado @JaynezPlays Understandable. Then again, sentimental value means nothing when it comes to copyright law or any law in particular. It's how it is. As stingy Square Enix can seem, there's that reality.
