@laralogan President Trump on MTP: “They had FBI agents ushering them into the building. They were being ushered into the building.”
Welker, in response: “There’s no evidence for that, sir.”
Re: these videos: Are those “FBI agents” ushering protesters into the Capitol?
@TheRealCSD@EmbracePaceUVA@breytw 20, according to the official box score. Still, warmed up in the bullpen yesterday, had two get-loose, on-mound sessions, and 20 live pitches. He’s probably got 6-9 outs in him today, not more than 35-40 pitches on no rest.
@deaconboss@shegone03 Not sure what this is supposed to mean. Coach Pollard got ejected once during the season. No players did. In Hattiesburg, Pollard was ejected in game 1 and two players in game 2. Seems more like an ump problem than a UVa one
@ProdigalSibling@LarrySabato@nytimes But then it just goes back to the bipartisan commission, which won’t agree on maps. Then the Supreme Court of Virginia (or its designees) redraws the maps. At worst, the US Supremes would invalidate part of Art II, Sect 6 addressing race in map drawing.
@judicialhub I doubt (1) is true. It was signed by Gov. Northam in April 2020. The election was in November. Even with early voting, the posting would have been well within 90 days. Either way, the 90-day posting requirement is no longer in the Code of Virginia.
@enlightenedcyn1@SenThomTillis nteresting theory. The Trump DOJ helped secure Lindberg’s first conviction in 2020, resulting from Lindberg’s bilking of clients in 2017 and 2018. https://t.co/7wbFtjRhAO
@samshirazim I could see the Supreme Court of Virginia throwing out the redrawn map but not the amendment. It’s hard to argue that the map fits this constitutional definition: “Every electoral district shall be composed of contiguous AND
compact territory….” (emphasis mine). Sect 6, Art II
@26bold@HirschfeldVP Constitutional process = has to pass both houses in two GA sessions with an intervenening election. Rs controlled the House in 2019; Ds controlled in 2020. Ds controlled Senate both years. Amendment was bipartisan, but most of the dissent came from Ds.
@patfinn45 4,000 saw a top 10 lacrosse matchup at Klockner and 5,100 went to see a top 15 baseball squad at Davenport. At least y’all had 1,300 at English yesterday though.
