@rlindseymedia @USCGNortheast Actually very easy to reconcile. That the “banging” noise (never even confirmed to be such) was proof of life was very wishful thinking. There is an entire ocean floor full of metal debris, all of which can create sounds.

@USCGNortheast The immediate implosion scenario made far more sense than communications AND the 7(?) redundant ways of surfacing the sub failing all at the same time before the sub was anywhere near the ocean floor (and thus couldn’t have gotten snagged on something). RIP
