@RonDeSantis What about the critical services of mosquito control? The districts that are independent taxing districts rely almost exclusively on property taxes for their budget and your plan does not have provisions for them. A 40% reduction in budget which means a 40% reduction in services.

@GovRonDeSantis I applaud this move to reduce taxes, but don't see mosquito control listed as an essential service. How will they continue to protect us with 40% of their budget gone?

@GovRonDeSantis What provisions will there be for essential mosquito control districts that rely on property taxes for their budget? They are not currently listed as essential and thus protected the way law enforcement and fire rescue are. Florida will be uninhabitable without their work.
