@DanNeidle There are long term things we can do, stop all govt DB pensions, move to DC. Civil servants have a right to what they have ‘earned’ under DB but no right to future DB pensions. Simplify the tax code down to a few hundred pages, get rid of many if not all subsidies etc etc
