A 9yo Black child clearly into science identified a problem harming her neighborhood, researched, found a safe solution, and was testing it. Her white neighbor (who knew her!) called police on her saying a “small Black woman wearing a hoodie” was doing things and scaring him.
If you show frustration or anger through: sighing, giving the silent treatment, or making sarcastic comments—this is a passive aggressive communication style.
You might say “I’m fine” when asked if you’re upset.
