It's 13 out of 14 done ... Reconstruction of missing 1971 Ace of Wands story The Eye of Ra now available here https://t.co/R0JprOACvD. All four episodes, with off-air audio for 2, 3 and 4 (subtitled), and scrapbook of TV listings. No photos are known to exist, so it's best guess!

@FroodMultiple I think it suffered from being the first story after the time slot was pushed back from 5:20 to 4:50. But the 1973 repeat got 0.9m, 2.4m and 3.1m by part 3, so better than the first time round! Go figure

Ace of Wands came to an abrupt conclusion #OTD in 1972 with episode 4 of The Beautiful People. Ironically it was the highest rated episode, so of course they stopped making them. Full 272 page 1972 Production Diary pdf coming soon! 🦉

@gregrcox @motelcrossroads Is that the “chalet poltergeist” after the bomb explosion in May ‘67? The more I find out about the series, the more paranormal stuff there is! ESP with Joyce Wood and Derek Maynard in Nov 68, black magic in May 70, a ghost at the Manor House in Dec 70! It’s that era I guess!

@gregrcox @motelcrossroads Love the bit in 496(?) where Carlos is repeating everything Josefina says about her old boyfriend. Shame we don’t have more of them. The “evil twin Giorgio” warehouse fight from 1966 exists though I believe
