Another #darkpattern from @uber : if you reserve a trip in advance and they can’t find a driver, they will abruptly cancel, and such cancelled trip will NOT appear in your history, as to hide their failure (but if YOU cancel, YOU’ll have to pay a fee, of course).

Not saying that back in the days programming was harder, but this is from the Macintosh THINK C documentation of PBClose, circa 1991… Disk First Aid 6.0.7 can restore your drive when you close the wrong file. Hopefully, that was the last macflim bug… #retrocomputing
