@thehill @TheHillOpinion the US runs large deficits unlike traditional SWF nations like Norway, Saudi Arabia & Kuwait. Those countries use the SWF to diversify their economies away from oil and gas. The US economy is already diversified. we have no need for a SWF.

@elerianm Globalism and the post WWII has treated America very well. MAGA zealots should be mindful of this. Tariffs hurt everyone. The danger to global economic order cannot be overstated.

@Ksidiii not sure I agree with your poker analogy. When you have a big stack you can play hands you wouldn’t play otherwise. You can get very lucky. Poker is also a controlled environment while markets are not. You can’t bully the market no matter the size of your stack.
