@Tomo56691@GrimReapers_ If you watch the full video, you will find this acknowledged. A fictional scenario is played where the Argentinans already control the islands and the UK attempts to retake them.
It’s explained to be fictional and unrealistic, but an interesting play through.
@monokaidan@DanielJHannan That’s obviously not how it works. They are talking about the how through the process of making TV the money is reinvested into the British media industry
@SteveAusti43698 @twonoteswivel@implausibleblog Bro Politicians are owned by big oil.
Everyone knows that.
Basic logic teaches that energy sovereignty can only come from clean power.
Oil and gas prices - wherever they are extract from - are always set by the global market
@R_J_Shaw@POTUS@realDonaldTrump@JDVance@elonmusk 366 Americans have died in mass shootings so far this year.
I wouldn’t be asking the U.S. government for help.
The UK is still one of the safest countries in the world. Individual tragedies ≠ societal collapse.

@Tertianship@NoFarmsNoFoods It’s true fossils fuels are more consistent.
Personally I think increased reliance on nuclear energy is the way forward for environmentally friendly constant and cost effective energy!
@Tertianship@NoFarmsNoFoods It’s environmental impact is considerably better than fossil fuels. It can lower energy prices we just need to re-legislate how we determine energy prices in the UK. As last resort supplier, gas sets the price - we can change this though, and solar will lower costs then. Promise
@StevenJonMiller Because quite simply, you can’t open fire and kill people on small boats.
Needless to say that would be Evil and abhorrent.
Meanwhile, sinking the boats of Nazis - a wartime enemy, explicitly aiming to kill Britons - is obviously a different story.
Nazis deserved to be shot.
