@Tocnost@blakeferguson48 Fair enough. If you’re LSU you can pick your guy lol. Do feel like Flint at the age of 40 is best ‘young’ strength coach in all of football. Would love to hear if Will Campbell feels he helped in his development
@Tocnost@blakeferguson48 No disrespect to other strength coaches. But Going back to Cincinnati, ND, and his years here he takes freaks and develops them for game day. Beyond that it’s on the head coach IMO
@Dickrichar35333 @blakeferguson48@coachflint Misdirecting disappointment from the head coach to a strength coach who by all accounts is performing based on developing elite players year in and year out
@Jacob094103@blakeferguson48 It’s like they get he’s good at getting the boys ready for game day. Elite at his job. Access to facilities likely not his calls. Don’t hear that being a policy in past programs
@CBBfan101@blakeferguson48 Being a top tier strength coach at multiple power programs I think he will land on his feet. My comment was more about why he is drawing ire when there’s a good shot it wasn’t his call. He gets the athletes ready. Above and beyond that not his call
I am raising all of my kids with one main north star:
They will work for my companies and be great stewards of capital, leaders and decision makers.
They'll take them over eventually.
What else is the point?
All businesses in the not so distant past were family businesses by design.
And I think that is great.
Make businesses family businesses again!
Underrated advice: The worst mistakes in life are made when you try to do fast what’s meant to be done slow. Real, durable things take a long time to build. Careers. Businesses. Relationships. Health. There are no hacks or shortcuts. The long way is the right way.
@greiser Definitely not designed for max cash accumulation. Whole life like any other insurance product should be viewed as a tool. If the tool is right for the job great. Insurance agents pursuing big commissions isn’t the answer. Either is saying section 7702 has no place.
Your ultimate success is governed by your ability to tolerate the uncertainty on the path to get there. The one who can tolerate the most uncertainty is the one who will eventually win.
You can get pretty damn far in life by just being someone people can count on to show up and do the work. Reliability is the cheat code. Stop overcomplicating success. Show up, do the work, repeat. That’s it.
