🚨 #NEWS 🚨
First tankers are already moving through the Strait of #Hormuz after the #US.–#Iran deal, with Saudi supertankers signaling an early return of oil flows and a rapid risk-off shift in crude prices (Brent down ~2% <$78).
But the bigger signal is political: while maritime trade restarts in the Gulf, fighting in #Lebanon is still escalating, exposing a fragmented “post-deal” reality, de-escalation in energy corridors, but unresolved conflict on the ground.
Net takeaway: markets are pricing restored supply, while geopolitics is pricing continued instability beyond Iran.

BREAKING; IRAN Signs a Deal with RUSSIA to acquire 20 Rescue Helicopters for Emergency Response and Disaster Relief
Iran’s Red Crescent Society has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Russia to purchase 20 helicopters.
The helicopters will be used for search-and-rescue, medical evacuation, firefighting, and emergency response.
They come equipped with modern technology, night-vision systems, and specialized medical gear. The first 4 helicopters are expected to be delivered before Nowruz (March 2027).
This deal aims to rebuild and upgrade Iran’s aerial emergency fleet after recent damages.
Ukrainian attack drones successfully struck Russia's Moscow oil refinery this morning, setting the facility ablaze.
Several Ukrainian drones were shot down on approach, but multiple appear to have punched through Russian air defenses.
‼️‼️🔥🇺🇦🇷🇺 Pillars of flame and smoke over Moscow after the repeated arrival of several drones at the oil refinery in Kapotne.
The footage was shot by local residents and published by Ukrainian channels.
The #Iran conflict is being framed as a clean-energy vs fossil fuels turning point but the reality is more “both/and” than either/or. #Hormuz
Energy security, not climate, is driving decisions: tighter oil markets could boost #US drilling while also accelerating Chinese EV exports and renewables adoption in import-dependent regions. #China
Net effect? Not a clean transition trigger but a more fragmented, geopolitically split energy system where fossil fuels and clean tech both gain ground for different reasons.

#Ukrainian#drones reportedly struck the #Moscow Oil Refinery in #Kapotnya, with multiple impacts reported on-site. The facility, operated by #Gazprom Neft, is one of #Russia’s largest refineries (~11M tons/year) and a key supplier of fuel to the Moscow region.
This highlights continued pressure on Russia’s downstream energy infrastructure. Targeting major refineries can have outsized regional effects fuel logistics, pricing, and reserve management while also signaling an effort to disrupt supply chains rather than just production capacity. The strategic impact depends on damage severity and how quickly output is restored.
Many thanks @InsiderGeo@SONARROW_OSINT
Ukrainian drones struck the Moscow Oil Refinery in Kapotnya, with multiple impacts reported on the facility.
The refinery is operated by Gazprom Neft and is one of Russia's largest oil-processing plants, with a capacity of around 11 million tons of crude oil per year. It supplies a significant share of fuel consumed in the Moscow region.

An impending wave of oil that’s been trapped inside the Strait of Hormuz is set to be unleashed on Asia, suddenly swamping a region that had managed to make up for lost supply in recent weeks https://t.co/Iunmp7vpDt
Fighting the Russian shadow fleet is not just about helping Ukraine. It is about Europe's own security. The Baltic and Scandinavian states understood this first.
Now Mediterranean states are about to reach the same conclusion.
The Mediterranean is where Europe MUST confront the system.
We'll discuss this in more detail this weekend with @InsiderGeo .

BREAKING: 🇷🇺 Russia’s Tu-22M3 Fleet Is Being Erased, More Than 70% of Combat Ready Bombers May Be Gone Since 2022
Russia may have lost more than 70% of its combat ready Tu-22M3 bombers since the start of the full scale war.
Before 2022, an estimated 33–34 Tu-22M3s were combat ready. Today, only 9–10 may remain operational.
The fleet suffered a devastating blow during Operation Spiderweb, which reportedly destroyed 12 Tu-22M3 bombers at Olenya, Belaya, and Dyagilevo airbases.
Additional crashes in the Irkutsk region in 2024, 2025, and June 2026 further reduced numbers. In total, Russia may have lost, damaged, or rendered unusable 24 Tu-22M3s since 2022.
This is a capability Russia cannot easily replace. Production of the Tu-22 ended in 1993, no successor program exists, and spare parts are increasingly scarce. Even relatively minor damage can reportedly result in aircraft being cannibalized for parts.
The Tu-22M3 Backfire-C is one of Russia’s most important long range strike bombers, capable of carrying up to 24 tons of weapons, including the Kh-22 missile in both conventional and nuclear roles.
Russia is not just losing aircraft, it is losing a strategic bombing capability that took decades to build and may take decades to restore.

The widespread destruction of the refinery in Moscow but also the results of Russian air defense missiles have caused fires at multiple spots across the Kapotnya district of the Russian capital. Even wildfire units have been called in.
The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations Center has issued an advisory following an attack on a vessel 105nm northeast of Aden, Yemen. A vessel approached to within 4 meters by 2 skiffs with armed personnel on board. The vessel's security team returned fire and the skiffs disengaged. This is the third attack in this area over the last two days.
🚨🚨🚨 🇬🇶 FINA A (IMO 9283306) has become the latest shadow fleet tanker reportedly struck by Ukraine in the Black Sea.
🇺🇦🗣️ Ukraine's General Staff reported a successful strike on the sanctioned Aframax tanker during operations conducted on 16-17 June.
⚠️ Ukraine lists FINA A among tankers transporting Russian crude outside the G7/EU price-cap framework. The vessel is sanctioned by multiple jurisdictions.
‼️‼️🚢🇮🇷🇺🇸 TankerTrackers: Two Iranian supertankers, DIONA and HERO2, have exited the U.S. Navy blockade perimeter carrying a combined 3.8 million barrels, Iran’s first crude oil exports in two months.
A third tanker, STREAM, is now approaching the blockade line after spending seven weeks waiting off Pakistan.
