Who told you the war had stopped? They lied to you. The bombing has not stopped for a single day. Today, a strike hit right next to where I live. Every day there is death, destruction, and fear.

Gaza City has collapsed. Entire neighborhoods have been reduced to rubble, with gunfire and explosions even inside the areas of the Yellow Line. We don’t know where to run or where we can be safe.

The aircraft are flying extremely low over our heads right now. Their sound is terrifying, and quadcopters are flying directly over the tents. We are surrounded from every direction, and every day we somehow survive.

The world outside continues with its life as if nothing is happening, as if human beings aren’t dying here every single day. While we live waiting for a moment that could be our last.

Does the world realize that dental clinics across Gaza are shutting down one after another, and that people are being left with nowhere to escape the pain?

There is no anesthesia, no filling material, and not even the most basic medical supplies. People are now being forced to have their teeth extracted without anesthesia, not because they choose to, but because proper treatment is no longer possible.

Children lie awake all night, crying from unbearable tooth pain, while their parents sit helplessly beside them, with no medicine, no treatment, and no way to ease their suffering. And even when treatment is available, its cost has become so high that most families simply cannot afford it.

How did we reach the point where saving and treating a tooth has become a luxury? How did extracting a tooth without anesthesia become an ordinary reality for people here?

Day after day, the most basic necessities of life are being taken away from us. Gaza is not only losing essential services; it is being pushed centuries backward, to a time when pain was simply something people had to endure.

What once seemed unimaginable has become our reality. In Gaza, even escaping the pain of a toothache has become a dream that many can no longer afford.
