@sparklyparticle @lyda Well, of course it won't just set up itself. You need to browse to the configuration page of the router (on the cable) and fill out one or two things, follow those instructions on that configuration page. Plus send your connection key in by email, before you get on the network.

Found a workaround for Android 4.x and older devices by enabling IPv4 DHCP without gateway and dns. Even those connect now and will use IPv6

@rektide The Freemesh and Freifunk networks don't use authentication at all, so no need for 802.11u. The network is build on 802.11s mesh.
