Happy #FathersDay to Hidayet Karaca, another champion of justice, who has spent the past six years in a small cell in prison in Turkey for leading the country’s largest news organization.
Benim Aslan babam; bize yatlar, katlar, saraylar bırakmadı.
Şerefli bir soyad, onurlu bir hayat bıraktı.
Aslan babaların babalar günü kutlu olsun...🌸🌸🌸
Happy #FathersDay to all of the hero fathers who have been deprived of their rights to be with their families. Happy #FathersDay to these strong champions of justice. It’s past time for these prisoners of conscience to be freed.
On #WorldRefugeeDay , we’re thinking about the thousands of Turks who have migrated to other countries and are now refugees because they risk imprisonment and human rights violations in Turkey. We call on Turkey to release all prisoners and to end the war against the peaceful.
1) Wow!
I could cry
Today I found out that 7 years after arresting my dad, taking him through a Kangaroo court and accusing him of being a criminal just because he is my dad.
MY DAD HAS BEEN RELEASED!
This is due to the pressure we have put on the Turkish regime.
“I’m 8 1/2-years-old. I go to third grade. I have an 11-year-old sister. We live with our grandparents—grandma is sick, grandad has a disability.
Both of my parents have been in prison for 3 years.”
Can you hear the pain?
Will you be her voice?
Many innocent political prisoners are catching the Coronavirus in Turkey. There are some reports that say that Turkish officials are adding more prisoners into already-tight cells. https://t.co/dhBAm5KNc8
This is a photo from a prison in Turkey... Happy Mother’s Day to the innocent mothers who donated to charity and now are in prison because the Turkish authorities deemed them dangerous. You can even see a few are raising their kids behind bars... Where’s the freedom and justice?

Ahmet a long time cancer patient, passed away yesterday. Erdogan regime made him and his family suffer tremendously by even preventing his treatment abroad. His father, a purge victim, is still jailed. He was not even allowed to see his son before he died.
These are the faces of Prisoners of Conscience in Turkey... not in a jail, but they were confined within a country that did not want them... They all died trying to survive in new Turkey. May their souls rest in peace.

Ahmet, denied traveling to Germany for cancer treatment, has died without seeing his father, who is a prisoner of conscience, for the last time! Turkish authorities must be accountable for delayed responses!

This is 8 year old Ahmet. His father was arbitrarily arrested for political purposes in Turkey last year. He had cancer and the Turkish government did not let him and his mother travel to another country to be treated.
He just passed away.
Don’t silence his story. RETWEET NOW!
These children you see in this picture are currently in jail in Turkey with their mothers. 12 mothers, 13 children. One room in a prison. Their mothers were arbitrarily arrested for political purposes. RT to spread the word about this injustice.
@abdulhamitgul

Baby Betul`s birthday is 7 February. She is one of the 780 babies who are arbitrarily jailed as political prisoners in Turkey along with their mothers. Spread this message and let Betul spend her birthday outside with her mother. #FreeBetulUrunga
