@web_rant@NateSilver538 I just watched his Databricks/Spark conference keynote from 6/24 where he said (speaking about data from 3 weeks ago) that the trend didn't look like it was going up in Florida and that the experts - aka epidemiologists - were letting politics cloud their analysis. Yikes!
tfw when @Portland_State registrar rolls out mission critical software, it fails, and their office hours don't even start for an hour after it fails. Classic bad software rollout to replace something that worked. But hey, at least the CSS looks like it's from 2014!
Great look at a former colleague from @NYRP using his gardening and community building skills to help build a garden in Puerto Plata, DR https://t.co/bHAvSPRzCd
@nrobinson No clue. The fact that they are sending (mostly poor) people to collections over this is wild. @notifypdx has also used a large portion of the $$ to fund the financial destruction of its own citizens, while claiming to bring arts $$ to schools. Schools that still have lead pipes.
@bitface Yes, the problem is a lack of documentation. I've started hoodie apps three times in the past 3 years, praying and hoping it is the solution it promises to be, only to give up because the documentation is inadequate.
I filed the #PDXArtsTax - it was neither fast, nor easy, and they are actively threatening and exploiting poor people by reporting them to creditors. #GoodIdeasGoneBad
