Christmas trees still littering many pavements in Crystal Palace & Upper Norwood. I reported the 4 shown in the video to Croydon Council, especially as it was blocking the pavement alongside a busy road.
@Tesco shame on you Tesco's after filming your Christmas advert in St. Albans with a real Christmas tree you just dumped it on the pavement causing a hazard. What a waste of a lovely Christmas tree!!!
Another #litter pick...
Reported to @Edinburgh_CC for uplift:
"Full litter picking bag placed next to the bin. Also a bucket, plastic cannister & two pieces of a Christmas tree. All recovered from opposite Manor Grange Care Home, dumped into the verge between road & footpath"
A pleasant wander along New River Path today, Winchmore Hill to Enfield Green. The notices say firmly “It’s NOT new and it’s NOT a river”. However, coots, mallards, mandarins, moorfowl & Canada geese were enjoying it. Note the canny coot who’s made a nest on a dumped Xmas tree!
@kelliruston@JoePriestley Yes, we went downstairs in the lift to drop off, then taxi back to get the monorail to the top. It’s how we knew we could skip the lower queue
@JoePriestley Taxi arrived at the monorail bit of the station 6:42, in Pret 7:20 if these timings work for you. It’s 5 mins in a taxi back to the station, 2 mins on the monorail and 30 mins upstairs - you skip all of the downstairs queue to the lifts
