@defi_orbit @guacodilian @kiwitalkz It's still an action game though. Metroidgames always push the actiongenre forward within movement mechanics and boss fights. It's a choice between having better view 40FPS or better action 120 FPS. I prefer the 120 FPS for a metroid game and I think its an obvious choice

I tried to find all videos from my previous submissions and it was a handful of videos I couldn't find so I was thinking to go out to the communities if anyone had them archived somewhere. But that initiative was paused

@Andrewgspeedrun @sdkess I was on my way to upload more old records a few years back. I did with a few. But then healthissues came (immunologic inflammation in my back). Its probably not more than a few days of work. About 15 games, 30 WRs. Can't prioritize it now but the communities have OKfrommetodoit

@Andrewgspeedrun The community really needed a better speedrun. The one I posted in sept 2005 in 22.52 no death (?) was the real trash, but honestly, it gave motivation to keep trying and speed things up. Still think SDA did the best thing to publish it lol.

Playing Master Ninja now on on NGII black. I am rusty and I am dying now and then. It's still hard. But the enemy group encounters is not even close to the original. The feel of satisfaction is not there when progress is made. It's another game now.

Interesting data. Feels a bit like imagine a dark souls with easy mode only - yea difficulty it not the only thing matters. But with this game it feels like the point for me.

Someone did the math. Total enemies fought on Master Ninja per version of Ninja GAIDEN 2:

Sigma 2: 1500~
Black2: 1850~
OG: 4500~

I did Master ninja on NG II 6 years ago. Included test of valor in the same run. It's basically more difficult since I had to save the heals for the tests. I am not surprised to see the numbers at all. It's insane to go through that hectic combat for so long for the first time
