@krisvancleave@Ginger_Zee@RobertRayWx NBC News reporter @LizKreutzNews told me about one man who rented a bike in DTLA to bypass gridlock and scramble back to his home in the Palisades in order to save his two dogs, which firefighters were ultimately able to rescue:
Our legislation allowing cities to create “entertainment zones” — outdoor areas where local bars & restaurants can sell open container alcohol — just passed its first committee.
SB 969 is a key tool for cities like San Francisco to revitalize & reenergize their downtowns.
Gotta tip my hat to @LondonBreed’s campaign spokesman @JoeArellano for especially colorful press release language, calling Mark Farrell’s policies “a thin minestrone” and saying he’s “cosplaying as Mayor” from his kitchen.
I'm just going to keep tweeting these columns from @hknightsf until it sinks in for all the galaxy brained takes and hard spinning I'm seeing from San Francisco's far left progressive establishment this morning.
These were true in June and November 2022 and they still are
We continue to see antisemitic postings by professors — people responsible for teaching our young people.
These latest are by a CSU San Bernardino professor — depicting the eating of dead Palestinians as “kosher” — & Harvard faculty depicting Jews as killing people of color.🧵
JCRC is horrified that a neo-Nazi used last night's Walnut Creek City Council meeting to spread Holocaust denial and attack Jewish Councilmember @KevinWilk.
This incident is part of a larger and growing trend of vicious antisemitic attacks on the local Jewish community, including distributing hateful flyers, displaying overpass banners, and spreading lies about Israel and Hamas during meetings.
Leaders of all backgrounds must strongly condemn hateful rhetoric calling for the killing of Jews, whether in public comments praising Hitler or graffiti endorsing Hamas in Oakland. The pain and trauma of the Jewish community are real, and our elected leaders must take concrete steps to ensure all Jewish residents feel welcome and safe in the Bay Area.
The one time we are happy to see posters of hostages being taken down.
Welcome home Louis ❤️
We wait for the day when all of these posters can be taken down.

Tonight, the Grammys demonstrated the true power of music – a force that unites, heals, and remembers.
By honoring the victims of the Nova Music Festival, they embraced the universal language that transcends borders.
Thank you to Harvey Mason Jr., and the #Grammys, for standing with us in unity and remembrance.
"Those artists were rebels. We believed in what they were telling us, and we believed in the lyrics."
