@atrupar I knew she was evil, I didn’t know she was this ignorant. The entire orange clown posse seems never to have read the U.S. Constitution (or even taken a high school civics course). Watching fascism imposed by idiots is somehow doubly disturbing.
Today, the leaders of Canada, the United Kingdom, and France issued a joint statement strongly opposing the expansion of Israel’s military operations in Gaza and any attempts to expand settlements in the West Bank. Read the full statement: https://t.co/wR7x5KVueR
@PeterHRatcliffe I’m so tired of this garbage. Honestly. Why can’t these people have a little bit of integrity? Even a little bit? It’s always attack attack attack. Make up anything and attack, the more baseless the better. I’m so so tired. These people are not attempting to govern at all.
@SueEC999 We can only hope. But before that can happen we need to deal with the disinformation problem and the “white male rage” problem. (Which aren’t necessarily separate.) As long as we have those, we’ll have young people moving further right into MAGA land.
@stphnmaher Because he’s not a nice person. Canadians knew that and that’s why they didn’t vote for him. Presumably his own constituents knew more about his character than anyone else.
@MondoABx Alberta needs to diversify its economy & stop denying climate change & hoping for miracles. Separation won’t make their troubles all go away.
@MondoABx Better would be 1 referendum on beginning negotiations and, once a deal is agreed, a referendum on accepting that deal. But the whole thing is dumb because Canadians get no say despite the effects on Canada being substantial.
@RichardLBennett@Curbisboy It should be possible not to have either/or. Maybe they would lose some white collar support, but not all. We are all workers. We all want the same things for ourselves and each other and our country. If they lose some of the center, there is still a lot they can pick up.
@OJoelsen Which begs the question: is Trump just lying? Or does he not know what’s happening because none of his sycophants have told him? He seems to have mostly turned over the job to his cabinet. Maybe he doesn’t know because he’s not interested. 🤷♀️
@PeterHRatcliffe I would be fine with that! As long as Pierre loses. It would be smart to run only NDP against Pierre. Without vote-splitting Pierre could lose again.
@kim_gaetz Only one piece of legislation: The Fair Voting Act, which everyone mocks as the Unfair Voting Act, as its purpose was voter suppression. That’s the entirety of his contribution to the country. Also, along with the rest of CPC, bringing Republican-style politics to Canada.
