@IrishRail After the mess this morning can you please just accept it was a mistake and go back to the old timetable? Packed trains, longer journeys and continued delays - the car is now an easier option @EamonRyan@DarraghOBrienTD
@IrishRail@DarraghOBrienTD@AlanFarrell The 7.21 commuter has just arrived in Malahide @ 7.33 it is already completely full with no standing room - the 7.24 DART is already full. Removing a DART will cause chaos for commuter in Malahide but even worse so for Portmarnock and Clongriffin.
@IrishRail@DarraghOBrienTD@AlanFarrell this new means the removal of DARTs from Malahide during the busy period every morning no DART between 7.04 & 7.44 with commuter trains instead already full. There was no consultation on these changes which will force people back in to cars
@IrishRail The difficulty is that the commuter trains are already full when they hit Malahide so it can be difficult to get on as it stands already - we might be able to squeeze on in Malahide but there’s not a hope that commuters in portmarnock or clongriffin will be able to get on
@easyJet hi, our flight from Marseille to Bristol has been delayed - we have an onward flight to Belfast and now have less than one hour to change flights - is it possible to get in contact with the staff in Bristol to let them know ? (we have checked in already)
@BrayAirShow absolute disaster…poor public transport arrangements, poor facilities and none of the aircraft people came to see flying…need to up the game or give up #BrayAirDisplay
@IWCare Hi, there is no water in the Chalfont area of Malahide and there appears to be no notice or warning - what is the issue and when will we have water back?
@IrishRail This new timetable does not work and long delays are now the norm with a less frequent service and smaller trains - more regular off peak trains are not needed and do not justify the changes
@AlanFarrell@alavin1@DarraghOBrienTD@IrishRail Has there been any update from Irish rail - the new service is not working and causing major issues in both portmarnock and future on the line where passengers can no longer get on the train
@AlanFarrell@alavin1@DarraghOBrienTD Irish rail are massively reducing capacity in portmarnock train station in the mornings just as hundreds of new houses come on stream, this will cause massive congestion and needs to be reversed @IrishRail
New timetable from Sunday 9th September 2018: changes to times for DART, Commuter, Galway, Rosslare, Waterford, Sligo line services – please check times before travel. Full information at https://t.co/CLVV655UEF
