@Malay4Product India imported 1 billion litres of ethanol last year at 80 cents per litre average cost, realistic projections are 1.3 billion litres this year.
@volklub@MeghUpdates anycase we imported a billion litres of ethanol last year at 80 cents per litre. Thats 75 rupee today
and we are expect to go up by 30% this year.
so not even sure if were saving anything.
This is true, but india did import close to 1 billion litres of ethanol last year at 80 cents average price per litre and this number is expected to grow by 30% in this year.
The higher costs are passed to other industry for now with an expectation that india will divert more
land for sugar cane production since overall realization is going to be higher then pure sugar.
So overall water consumption will rise automatically.
God bless our country
God bless our IT services industry
TCS: 50K-1.25 LPA for AI/ML engineer with 5-7 years experience.
I assume they meant monthly (maybe not). But that too sounds too low for Bangalore and AI/ML 5-7 years to me.
I hope this is AI generated and not true.
@realhyderabad86 Hyderabad rains are always cruel, 4-5 days in an year. Choke points are well known and they don't get better.
People don't learn either and make it a point to attend office and leave at 6pm on the well known rainy days.
most countries use upto 10% max, including china
only country known to use more is Brazil which is a tropical country with lot more rain and lot more sugar cane and lot less people and lot less vehicles for same size of land
people want the capex and energy in EV and solar tech.
@paddukonisetti Hyderabad's bigger threat is lakes vanishing just like Bangalore.
This entire stretch was Nallagandala lake 10 years back.
Soon we will have apartments here. The lake will soon be a pond with no ground water recharging capabilities
Amazon's decline is no longer silent. Andy and board forget that putting profit ahead of brand and sales, and cutting costs on customer acquisition/retention magnets like Prime Music and Prime Video [By asking customer to pay more for what was earlier bundled] may lead to a downward spiral.
Same with Netflix, tipping point is round the corner in consumer bahavior. Pandemic and WFH waves are over. There is no more creative and gripping content coming over. The ARPU is same but hours watched per month is significantly low.
Microsoft of course runs its own race powered by Wintel.

@vinodsrinivasan@ActusDei Do you think spending similar money to make exports more competitive, by cutting taxes as cost for example can help better by reducing the deficit a bit and reducing the pressure on currency.
i would love to that too. I tried using Hyderabad metro for work commute but experience was horrible, parking was an issue, Also after a long day at work, standing in a crowded metro often with people not is best hygiene and then changing the line, finally walking to the car etc was too much.
