@SquarespaceHelp I'm trying to delete the email forwarding rules on my squarespace domain, but there's no interface to do so, and it disallows overriding the existing rules with higher priority rules
This makes it impossible to use Google Workspace please advise
@appleios Developers of Apple Intelligence, when people say the summary prompts are unhelpful, this is what they mean
This spam message gets sanitized to look legitimate, even though LLMs can easily detect spam patterns and urls
This content shouldnโt even get surfaced
@Austen@dmakogon This switch happened 7(?) years ago
I remember it took one email to clarify, and thinking โyeah thatโs a better name, the default branch doesnโt have any control over other branchesโ and not thinking about it again until this thread
Did you think master was a better name?
@scubzero@airkatakana Itโs definitely not true (except for advanced weapons, maybe, which we manufacture a lot of)
But definitely not houses, cars, products, or trade goods
@ChrisByBike @maxdubler Less so, but yes - for sure
Also, I forgot to mention foreign investors (China, Russia, Middle East) love American real estate because it just goes up, and is outside the reach of their home countries
@ChrisByBike @maxdubler There are many answers to this, but one big one is tax write offs.
A single family home can write off almost twice the median salary entirely, then get inherited at a 0% tax rate
It's an incredible investment
@Mishka405@AgentSelf99B@v_train3000 It may surprise you that many people actually visit or live in NYC, including me, and donโt know what youโre talking about.
NYC is an amazing place and you should visit some day, donโt let Fox News hoodwink you into living in fear ๐
@maxdubler For the love of god, can the city please turn that dilapidated building at 16 and mission into apartments
Why does our billion dollar metro stop at empty buildings
@decadimitry 16th street Bart has a walk score of 100, but the city still rejects all new housing proposals in that neighborhood
No amount of public transit will convince SF to build
@decadimitry my only comment is that the Bay Area should probably be policed by a few large organizations instead of dozens of small ones of varying effectiveness
Why have 20 different police chiefs when we could have 1 or 2 for a metro area less than half the population of NYC
@decadimitry Thatโs half of NYCโs 5.3/k btw, which doesnโt include federal officers like you included with the SF numbers (which would be more like 1.7/k?
No comment on the cause and effect, but there are objectively WAY fewer police in SF than NYC
