A single family home can write off almost twice the median salary entirely, then get inherited at a 0% tax rate

Why have 20 different police chiefs when we could have 1 or 2 for a metro area less than half the population of NYC

No comment on the cause and effect, but there are objectively WAY fewer police in SF than NYC
