@_Plac3_hold3r@DennisCromptom Private ownership of handguns is virtually impossible save for a few very limited exceptions.
The average person can get a shotgun very easily, albeit limited to a magazine capacity of two.
@DennisCromptom Examples of firearms most people can own in GB if they go through the legal process:
Semi automatic rifles up to .22 calibre
Single shot (bolt action or straight pull) rifles in any calibre up to .50
Semi automatic shotguns
Suppressors allowed
No magazine capacity restriction
@DennisCromptom Guns are not banned in the UK. Their ownership is tightly regulated in England, Scotland and Wales. In Northern Ireland you can still own a handgun for self defence if you have good reason. In GB you can own guns which even some Americans can't easily get.
@ThrillaRilla369 No because it requires specialized tools which the vast majority of people don't have.
That's why we carry a spare wheel in our cars. It's much easier to just swap the wheel than change a tire at the roadside.
@ibeadam@paullewismoney Good job. You've probably increased the efficiency enormously, assuming that hose goes out of the window and it's not sucking in the hot exhaust
@raygretts@BirdNewEngland "insane electricity use"
