Stuck at Malindi Airport after the 12:30 Jambojet flight to Nairobi was delayed and is still counting, with the inbound aircraft stuck on the tarmac at JKIA following the go-slow by KAA and KCAA staff.

Shockingly, the disruption in air traffic at JKIA began this morning, with early flights reportedly still grounded hours later, yet by lunchtime there was still no clear, coordinated official communication on the scale of the problem or how long it may last. KAA’s advisory only appeared around midday, while the Ministry of Transport and the wider aviation authorities have largely remained silent.

Passengers should not have to rely on airport counters, airline staff and online searches to understand a major national aviation disruption.

I particularly feel for those with onward international connections, because this kind of uncertainty can wreck tightly scheduled and expensive travel itineraries.

With a disruption of this magnitude, government and aviation authorities should be communicating proactively and frequently, explaining what is happening, what is being done, and when travellers can reasonably expect normal operations to resume.

Unconfirmed Report: The Kenya Presidential Jet KAF 308 is currently undergoing test flights in the Netherlands after a major overhaul.
Reports indicate the aircraft has received significant upgrades, including:
• Missile warning and countermeasure systems
• Advanced night-vision compatible navigation
• Protection against electromagnetic pulse (EMP) effects
• Highly secure global communications that function almost anywhere

Dr Julius Kipngetich advises men to outsmart their ever rising women.

Men are facing imense pressure from rising women in the society. Kipngetich has the following advice to men:

1. Increase knowledge by reading a book every week
2. On personal finance, save money and stop overspending in huge SUVs, emulate Chinese minimalist expenditure.
3. Generate more income by having more than one income source since women are earning more than men nowadays.
4. Farming maize when you're in Nairobi doesn't make economic sense. Invest in money market, bonds and treasury bills instead.
5. Don't overspend on relatives instead encourage them to develop their own revenue generating avenues.
6. Always be present, don't stay in pubs until 12AM. Kipngetich personallly gets home by 8pm daily.
7. Learn at least one sports activity, language and music instrument. For example, learn darts or chess or football, local languages such as Kikuyu, Luo or Kalenjin and perfect one music instrument like guitar or piano.
8. Go to church every Sunday, build your relationship with God.

The core of the matter is: keep rising as a man. Don't stagnate.

The Konza Technopolis Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) underscores the smart city's commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable waste management; two critical pillars in the development of a modern, world-class city.

Designed as a circular wastewater management system, the facility is engineered to recycle and recover wastewater for productive use, reducing environmental pollution while promoting efficient resource utilization across Phase One of the Technopolis.

Currently operating through an interim treatment system as the city grows, the facility is designed to handle up to 6,000 cubic metres of wastewater daily once fully operational.

Wastewater first passes through a disconnection pit fitted with a penstock valve to regulate inflows and prevent backflow before undergoing screening and grit removal. The treatment process is supported by the advanced Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) technology, where oxygen-rich biological chambers containing specialized bio-carriers accelerate the breakdown of organic waste within a compact and efficient footprint.

Following treatment, water passes through clarification, sedimentation, coagulation, flocculation, chlorination, ultraviolet disinfection and storage processes to produce non-potable reclaimed water suitable for irrigation, landscaping, agriculture, street cleaning and emergency fire-fighting systems. Excess treated water can also support the surrounding wildlife corridor.

The facility further incorporates sludge thickening and dewatering systems that convert waste into valuable by-products such as organic fertilizer, biogas and other agricultural inputs, reinforcing Konza's reduce, reuse and recycle philosophy.

Integrated into the Konza Technopolis Development Authority (KoTDA) utilities network, the facility is supported by automated water and drainage infrastructure and smart monitoring systems that continuously track water quality and operational performance.

As a critical urban utility, the facility supports public health, environmental protection and emergency preparedness while ensuring reliable service delivery. Its contribution to sanitation, resource conservation and urban sustainability aligns closely with the State Department for Internal Security and National Administration's mandate of fostering safe, healthy, orderly and sustainable communities.

Many of you have seen massive construction going on at the Junction of Kenyatta Avenue and Uhuru Highway.

That's a twin tower costing Ksh. 39B being undertaken by The NSSF.

Tower A has 60 floors, making it the tallest building in East and Central Africa, while Tower B will have 35 floors.

The Construction is being undertaken by the China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC).

This is pension capital being invested into a long-term income-generating investment.

Once completed, this investment will provide revenues that will strengthen returns for NSSF contributors over many decades.

I hope and pray this is not a miss like the famous Nyayo Estate.

2. They not only own the land their stations are built on to cut costs but also manage their stations directly rather than franchising.

4. They are not only 2 - 7 shillings cheaper but also never hoard fuel whenever there are shortages.

Few years ago, I was acting for some Texan Americans & Canadians who had been allocated millions (YES, MILLIONS) of acres of land in Coastal region for Oil & Gas Exploration. Then Daniel Kiptoo was a Legal Officer in the Ministry of Energy & he was the one I was dealing with. Being junior to me in the legal profession in many years,he was respectful & deferential as our Ethics Class taught us in Kenya School of Law.

Then in UhuRuto Government, he was made Director General/CEO of @EPRA_KE …. He changed. He became too big! He never picked my calls again. Whenever I called, he’ll text he is in a meeting & that he will call back. He never picked nor returned my calls for the entire period he was EPRA DG. I don’t mourn his dismissal. And there are many like him who when they become Ministers or PSes or CEOs, they delude themselves they are now BIG! They forget their positions are ephemeral, transient, temporary! Sooner or later, they will be dropped or fired or arrested!

WE WILL ALWAYS BE HERE! THEY NEVER LEARN & NEVER WILL! BUT THEY WILL FIND US HERE ENJOYING WINE AS WE HAVE DONE ALWAYS!
