@Clainy6 I'm pleased for you. Spare a thought for us who are still on the old state pension. £385 per annum. A small private pension takes me over the tax threshold. So, it's just £308. Just about pays for increases in Water Charges and Council Tax.

Just seen the increase in our water rates. And heard strong rumours around the increase in council rates.
State and private pensions increases, less income tax, is far less. At this rate, inheritance tax will be far from the minds of my children... there'll be nowt left!

Thought I was in a circus driving to Herts this morning. In 3 different villages, 3 clowns decided that the speed limit of 30mph didn't apply to BMW, Audi or Merc cars; all 24 plate registration. Obviously, just completed the mandatory course - 'how to drive like a pillock'.
