@curiousiguana I really hope it gets to the point where the queue is too long and they have to close it, because my instinct as a Brit is that the members of the public will respond by… forming a second queue. An unofficial, illegal queue to JOIN THE QUEUE.
@IterIntellectus The best backhanded/side-handed complement I had was a guy who was *convinced* I was lookmaxing because “No one has cheekbones like that!” and I was just like… bro, just ask me out already? (Also; if I was going to do anything, I’d fix my nose, but that’s neither here nor there)
@FoxFoxM3@jared_shult lol, that’s why I’m asking the question. Meanwhile your source for answering my question is actually… your gut. So, exactly what you’re criticising me for.
@FoxFoxM3@jared_shult (Also; there are 19 shows/films on this list. I find it hard to believe that that’s 41% of Netflix’s offerings for kids/family content)
@FoxFoxM3@jared_shult lol, can you name a single Netflix kids show that has “explicit themes, gay or otherwise? And can you give the breakdown that they’ve used to come up with that 41% figure?
@Yolo304741@iAnonPatriot Bernays was called the “father of public relations” in his obituary, not propaganda.
The idea that propaganda was a 20th century invention is utterly laughable. The ancient Romans did it. Genghis Khan did it. It was used in the French and American revolutions, etc.
@soIodown Location and availability; if you have 3 main locations (say, Shane’s home, Ilya’s home, and the ice rink) it doesn’t make sense to keep going back & forth between them for each 5 minute scene. Instead, you film all of the scenes at each location in turn, & then mix them together
@astralthor Oh, sorry. I meant that when people use the horse thing as evidence, with nothing else to back it up, when there’s plenty of other- much more direct- evidence that doesn’t require dancing around the actual fact of what being genderfluid means.
@Yamirawr28@astralthor There’s plenty to support him being genderfluid, including the fact that Loki describes herself as such in Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #28, and says that “person” is applicable as “boy.”
@NopeSignal I can’t remember the last time I bought more than a bottle of water at a movie theatre. I get that it’s a big part of the experience for a lot of people, but the popcorn etc are entirely optional extras (and you can always buy a bag of M&Ms elsewhere & stuff it in your pocket)
@howertonjosh Those connections happen because later writers specifically chose to reference earlier books. It’s really not that remarkable.
No contradictions? Genesis 2 contradicts Genesis 1.
@Keitsune_ Kitty is basically the trope codifier for an entire archetype of the “tagalong kid” as well as being a key inspiration for Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
