@bbculp @mattfitwriter I know, but high volume at low intensity has been done since 50-60s and the Norwegian method, as far as I’m aware, was all about going away from this type of training and doing more volume at higher intensity (I.E. threshold) @FEvertsen

@stevemagness The essence of the Norwegian model, as Nordås proved, is that the runner with the least lactate at the bell will win the race 8 out of 10 times, because it doesn’t matter if you can run a 50 or 51 last lap in a slow race if can only run a 56 last lap full with lactate. end

@stevemagness didn’t push hard enough to take the finish out of Wightmans legs.This year everything went to plan, just as in the DL where he has run the same way in every race obliterating his competitors, but in the final his legs were dead after 5-600m due to illness, still running 3.29.

Ingen seriøs forskning støtter denne konklusjonen. Hvorfor har dere en total mangel på omtanke for kvinnelige utøvere?
